How to use IIElevenReader to create your own free audiobooks
The first thing we are going to do once we download the application will be to identify ourselves or register. It can be done directly with a Google account, without entering a card, or payments or anything at all.
Once registered, the Home page will appear, In which we can see some small instructions, some of the voices that have just been added —such as Deepak Chopra in this case—and the app’s own content library.
If you click on the «+» button A tab like the one below will open, in which we will have several options to upload our content:
Convert text to audiobook
In this first option, it will be as easy as copying and pasting a text that we want to be played with Vox. This would technically be TTS or Text To Speech, since it will not be as long as a book, but it doesn't matter.
You may only need the voice of a fragment or you may not be able to stop and read and in a couple of clicks you can have it in voice format. It can be a great option to avoid having to worry.
Paste link to read a web page
Imagine you want to read a whole web page. Maybe a blog you're interested in or a news page, but you might be out walking, at the gym, or busy with other tasks.
For these cases, you just have to paste the URL of the web page in this section and enjoy reading.
Scan a text
This is a peculiar case, which requires using the mobile phone's camera to scan a text and thus convert it to voice. I have tried it and it works well. Perhaps you will find a use for it that I have not seen.
Convert a book into an audiobook for free
This is the most important part, and the last option is to upload files of different types, such as epub —the most used in e-books— TXT or PDF, also very common in these books.
I have tried PDF and EPUB and The result has been absolutely fantasticI have not had any compatibility issues or any kind of error when doing so. It's as simple as choosing the file and that's it.
Choosing voices for your audiobook
Before you start listening to your free audiobook, Remember to choose the voices in the button with the text VOICES which is at the bottom right. In this section you will see the most popular or used voices, which you can filter by language, sex or age, as well as even the narration style.
For me one of The best male voices of peninsular Spanish is Martín Osborne's. He has 7 different voice types, so try out the ones you like and choose the one you like the most to enjoy your favorite stories.
Once you have uploaded the book file and selected the voice you like best, you can press the play button and you will have something very similar to the video below.
